I found your blog through the atozchallenge. T...Hi! I found your blog through the atozchallenge. Thank you for sharing. My heart goes out to you - I can only imagine how dreadful it must be to find yourself the target of those hateful signs. I'm sorry you've had to go through that. Emerging is a great E word! I feel I've been emerging into myself for the last few years, trying to figure out who I am (in the light of living with mental illness) and how to be true to myself. It's encouraging to read your thoughts on emerging. Wishing you all the best ... "<br /><br />I very much agree with this. I am not a religious person, but I find the hubris of those who try to tell me what god wants or thinks or feels to be insulting. They bill god as an entity that is too great for humanity to comprehend, yet these same people espouse that only they know the desires of god. Make up your mind; you can either understand god or you can't. This sort of mentality just pushes me further and further away from organized religion.N J Magashttp://njmagas.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4206134920572885734.post-73687043030882579602014-04-05T12:09:28.160-07:002014-04-05T12:09:28.160-07:00Emerging is a lifelong word, isn't it? I can see how you are not - organized religion has unfortunately caused more pain than presence for many.
